A doctor learned a skill set. He knows how to treat patients. Yet he turns to insurance companies to market his skills. Why are we so willing to pay him at high prices just for him to turn around and hand a portion to the insurance companies? It’s the just the way things are done, right? That’s wrong thinking whether it’s how we all accept things to be or not. The doctor could provide services at a lower fee, but he’s stuck working with the insurance companies. Vicious cycle. You could pay cash to the doctor and pay less. Did you know that? Same rules apply in real estate investing. All the additional ACCEPTED players in a deal are not necessary. You can make money by becoming a wholesaler, fix-and-flip investor and even a buy-and-hold investor using cash and taking on other roles yourself.
