The Seeds of Transformation Podcast with Dr. Allma Johnson
Welcome to The Seeds of Transformation Podcast with Dr. Allma Johnson Episode #104: Come to Me is for the weary. Not the lazy. Not the disengaged. But the sincere believer who loves God, wants to be faithful, and yet feels exhausted in soul. We live in a culture that calls this burnout, or “quiet quitting.” But Scripture speaks more clearly. It exposes not just tired bodies, but heavy yokes, misplaced striving, and lives lived apart from rest in Christ. Before we go any further, we need to be clear and faithful to God’s Word. The Sabbath command, given as the seventh day, was part of the...

Hey there and welcome to episode 102 of The Seeds of Transformation Podcast with Dr. Allma Johnson. Y'all, there are songs you listen to… and then there are songs that listen to you. “Take Me Home” by Titania Paige is one of those songs for me. From the very first listen, it didn’t just move through my ears—it went straight to my spirit. It reminded me that no matter how far we wander, how tired we get, or how heavy life feels, home is still possible. Not the polished version of us. Not the figured-it-all-out version. Just us, honest, surrendered, and willing. And what you’re...

I want to name something quietly sitting in the room. We talk a lot about balance, especially when it comes to faith. Balance sounds wise. Safe. Reasonable. But sometimes what we call balance is really just distance we’ve learned to defend. This episode isn’t about answers you can rush through. It’s about slowing down long enough to ask what faith is actually asking of us. If you’ve been here for conversations like Cycles: Wounds That Repeat, Are You Becoming What Hurt You? () or Covenant and Contract – The Unbreakable Promise of God, then you already know ()—this...

Welcome to The Seeds of Transformation Podcast with Dr. Allma Johnson! Recently, I noticed something small that ended up revealing something much bigger. I returned to something I’ve had for years and discovered features that were always there, but I hadn’t fully noticed or used them. And it made me wonder what might be true about our own lives. In this episode, we’re talking about Finding Our Features, the God-given abilities, instincts, and strengths already built into us, and what happens when we slow down enough to recognize and honor what God has already done. Let’s get into it....

We’re just a few days away from a new year, and a lot of voices are already telling us what needs to change. New habits. New goals. New vision. But Scripture doesn’t put the weight on novelty, it puts the weight on faithfulness. Today for episode #99, we’re talking about obedience in the ordinary. What it means to remain rooted when nothing feels new, when God’s work feels quiet, and when faithfulness itself becomes an act of courage. This is Faithfulness in the Ordinary. ABOUT DR. ALLMA JOHNSON: Dr. Allma Johnson is a dedicated professional who expertly balances her roles as...

Hey there, and welcome to The Seeds of Transformation Podcast with Dr. Allma Johnson. I’m Dr. Allma, and I’m really glad you’re here.
There’s a lot about this season that’s meant to feel joyful, warm, meaningful and full of light. And yet, for so many people, there’s another layer beneath the surface. Quiet pressure. Unspoken stress. The kind that shows up when expectations collide with reality, especially when it comes to money.

Today on episode 97, we’re talking about a word many of us say often, but don’t always know how to feel about.
Father.
For some, it’s comforting. For others, it’s complicated.
And for many, it carries more weight than we realize. Why does the Bible call God Father? Is that connected to our earthly fathers, or completely different? And why is it sometimes easier to trust God as Creator or Savior than to speak to Him as Father?

Time is moving fast, faster than any of us want to admit.
And if we’re honest, we’re speeding through the very moments we once prayed for. But Jesus never rushed. He slowed down. He noticed people. He lived present, because the moment itself was holy.
Maybe the reason life feels empty, even when it’s full, is because we’re gripping the gift but missing the Giver. So today, pause. Breathe. Be here.
The greatest gift isn’t the blessing in your hands,
