The big story isn't just that Tadej won. It's the statement he and his team are making. UAE is flexing muscle and letting everyone know they're all in. They chased a stage win even though they don't have the yellow jersey, showing their confidence and dominance.
Tom digs into Tadej's mindset. This is his revenge tour. Last year, a knee injury and illness kept him from showing his true level. This year, he's back to prove he's not only the best rider ever to race the Tour, but he's going to dominate in every way possible. He's reminding Tom of Peter Sagan in his prime, a rider who loved the game so much he'd chase stage wins just because he could.
