CELESTE

This episode is dedicated in loving memory to Brittany's niece Celeste Perry, who tragically passed several weeks ago.

Celeste was smart, filled with personality and attitude, and had a wonderfully dark sense of humor at a young age. She was a little girl who loved cats, unicorns, paw patrol, and had just developed a fascination for the Super Mario Brothers. She was also very strong, very brave, and determined to communicate and connect. When illness took her ability to speak, she fought and found a way to do so despite the complications. Celeste unfortunately suffered from Reducing Body Myopathy, an incredibly rare genetic condition that causes a breakdown of the muscular system.

RBM is such a rare & little known disease that it doesn't have a significant level of public awareness or spokesperson to lead research fundraising. Contributions towards research are essential to finding a cure, and if you're able to donate, you can do so here: https://curerbm.org/donate
