Stephani made a series of telephone calls to police, anonymously reporting his crimes in a remorseful and high-pitched voice. In this episode of the Crack House Chronicles True Crime Podcast Donnie and Dale discuss the disappearance of Leanne Green. 17 year old Leanne Martha Leanne Green was picked up by her brother Lawson from her work at the Holiday Inn on April 15, 1987 in Dickson TN. They ran out of gas about a 1/2 mile later. A family stopped to help and Lawson rode with them to get gas. They were gone less than 10 minutes. She was gone when they returned. Mullin was an American serial killer who heard voices telling him to kill. He killed 13 people in California in the early 1970s and confessed to the killings, which he claimed prevented earthquakes. In 1973, after a trial to determine whether he was legally insane or culpable, he was convicted of two murders in the first-degree and nine in the second-degree and sentenced to life imprisonment. On the evening of February 22, 2000, the body of 18-year-old Michelle O'Keefe was discovered in a dimly lit parking lot in Palmdale, California. The young college student and aspiring actress who had just appeared as an extra in a Kid Rock music video was found in her own blue Mustang, partially undressed with blood splattered across the interior. The Palmer Brothers, Mike and Chucky vanished in Alaska 11 years apart, creating a haunting, unsolved mystery. Michael (15) disappeared on June 4, 1999, while biking in Wasilla. Heidnik was an American murderer and serial rapist who kidnapped, tortured and raped six women, murdering two of them, while holding them captive in a self-dug pit in his basement floor in Philadelphia between 1986 and 1987. He was sentenced to death and executed by lethal injection in July 1999, the last person executed in the state of Pennsylvania as of January 2026. Cleveland County Crimestoppers is a non-profit organization that helps law enforcement obtain needed information for the investigation of crime. Crimestoppers is an independent board that works with law enforcement in gathering information and giving rewards for the information provided. The system for gathering this information keeps the caller completely anonymous and unknown to both the board and law enforcement. Cleveland County Crimestoppers provides information to all Cleveland County law enforcement agencies. Sergeant Brad Benson at the Shelby Police Department is responsible for gathering and distributing all tip information to the appropriate agencies and to provide information to the local board as the law enforcement coordinator for the board. The board meets monthly to discuss business and make recommendations or approve tips for the previous month. Crimestoppers play an important role in gathering needed information to extend cases for further investigation. All law enforcement agencies within Cleveland County are fortunate to have a local board that is willing to make an effort to reduce crime in our area.
