As November's rut action explodes, hosts Matt and Tim welcome Drury Outdoors team members Dave Kramer and Rick Malik to the studio to break down Dave's unbelievable Iowa bow kill. Hunting near a steep bluff on his cousin Carter's beautiful property, Dave and Rick strategically chose a stand half a mile from the massive buck's core area based on a perfect wind. The rut action was immediate, with the deer counting upwards of 30 bucks by mid-morning. Despite Dave's reluctance to call, Rick persuaded him to try rattling , which proved to be the pivotal moment. Within seconds, the 6.5-year-old giant, affectionately known as "Ed Jones," charged out of the thicket and stopped at 20 yards.

The incredible footage captures the chaos as Rick battled to film the rapidly moving deer, shouting updates while dealing with trees. Dave, at full draw, waited for the massive deer to clear the limbs and executed the shot on his personal biggest buck with any weapon. The shot was successful, and the celebration was shared immediately.
