In Hebrews 12, the Bible teaches that those whom the LORD loves, He disciplines. In this fallen world, we understand that everyone faces the consequences of the curse. We are all affected by the fall of man due to original sin. How can we tell if we are being disciplined by God if a lost man's trial looks the same as ours? - A teaching by Tommy Bateman.

info_outlineBalaam sought to curse the people of God, but could not because God wanted to bless them. Howver, he helped to lead the people of God into sin and so they lost God's blessing, in some way. Like it has been said, this is what happens to the people of God, they lose God's blessing through disobeying. One of the ways that this happens is by having disunity in the Church. Like it has been said, an instrument being tuned not only draws near to what tunes ut, but to the other instrument being tuned, and so it is with us. As we draw near to Christ, we also draw near to each other. Preached on 10-20-2024.
