Visiting the actual area where the events of the Bible took place is a life-changing experience. It helps one to better understand the Bible by seeing the geographical background behind it.
As we think about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, one of the central locations would be Golgotha and the nearby garden tomb where the body of Jesus was laid. The traditional location of the "Place of the Skull" and the tomb are marked by a shrine, but a more recent site is known as Gordon's Calvary. Bro.
