We find out in the course of the episode that Kurn is actually Worf's brother and has brought news of a judgment by the Klingon High Council that will change both of their lives forever. In the course of three episodes of The Next Generation and one episode of Deep Space Nine, Kurn is tested again and again by the dramatic events happening within the Klingon Empire and between the sons of Mogh.
In this episode of Earl Grey, hosts Justin Oser and Joe Keegan are joined by guest Pierre LaRocco to discuss the character of Worf's brother Kurn. The discussion includes his developing relationship to Worf, his changing place in Klingon society, and his development as a recurring character.
