Laren Set stood looking at the gothic structure of the temple tower. The wind ruffled his hair as colors played across his face. Blue, purple, pink, red. He waited a moment. The stars splayed across the sky. Laren Set entered the temple. He exited the temple a few minutes later, looked around, and smiled. The question: What was his plan, what did he do in the temple, and what did he see that made him smile?

Jule stood on the balistra, wind whipping her hair rain lashing her dress. The lighting flashed on the city below her, outlining the dead bodies. "I am the storm" she whispered. The mystery: What did Jule do, and why?
info_outlineThe people gathered in the square to see the unveiling of the statue of the great warrior Mikaz. Twenty years ago the gladiator rallied the land after a great defeat, and in the ensuing years his legend had only grown. King Ponford had commisioned the statue from the greatest artist in the land, Shaline. As the kings speech ended the sheet was removed from the statue. It was beautiful. Made of marble, Mikaz's great club seemed to wood, his cloak seemed to ripple in the breeze and even his skin seemed to be alive. The people in the square wept, even the King. "Bring me Shaline! Whatever we payed her, it was not enough!" But she could not be found and was never seen again. Why was the statue so beautiful?
