Laraine Salazar interviews mother and yoga instructor Alexis Cox about the real day in, day out roles of motherhood that often go unspoken on a conventional level. They talk about the dwindling support of the “village” in today’s times and how this effects the family unit, the generational patterns and myths we’ve somehow been led to believe, as well as the good, the hard and the unpredictable aspects of motherhood. Alexis is currently developing a yoga website, which will be debuting this Fall aimed at giving the busy mama on the go yoga practices and a place to find some restorative support.
