The journey of creating and launching a podcast is exciting  and terrifying at the same time.  Everyone has their own reason, mission or topic they want to share with the world.  And we all go into it thinking we are going to enlighten and educate our audience.  We are going to share our expertise with anyone who will listen.  But through the journey we discover more about ourselves.  We learn more about who we are and how little we really know.  When we think we have the answers, we need to start asking new questions.

Jacob Thornton started his podcast on a whim.  Messing around on his phone as he took out the trash, he couldn’t seem to shake the idea of sharing his thoughts.  Diagnosed at an early age with autism, and later some other learning disabilities, Jacob and his parents struggled at times to understand how to cope with these challenges.  But with time, patience and the help of his sister, Jacob was able to see his challenges as talents.  His struggle has now become his asset as he is able to use his gifts to share his thoughts with his audience.

The Mentally Healthy Podcast is a first hand, uncensored glimpse into the mind of a young man facing these unprecedented times.  The episodes are incredibly insightful and raw.  Even emotional at times.   And As the podcast has grown, Jacob has added guests to the mix.   And his interviews are equally compelling.  In our conversation we share the free resources he uses to not only create a podcast, but get paid immediately for it.  We have included all the links and info you need to create your podcast as well.  Learn how to start podcasting and stay mentally healthy with Jacob Thornton.
