info_outlineBefore starting a family, Jodi felt she was meant to be a mother. She went into marriage with the intention to be a stay-at-home mom, but after having her first child, she was met with unexpected struggles. Humbled by her experiences, she felt unsure of herself as a mother. Working through those struggles inspired her to create a blog to help other moms like herself.
Her degree in education, experience as a teacher, tutor, and camp counselor combined with her own personal journey of motherhood culminated in the Meaningful Mama blog. What started out as a passion project blossomed into a full-blown business which continues to inspire other mamas with crafts, projects, parenting tips, and character-based education.
Listen in to learn:
- How to raise kids to be kind, honest, and good
- How to incorporate character-based education in a fun and creative way
- How parenting is a marathon (not a 50 yard dash!) and how to stay flexible along the way
