OUT WITH A BANG?
So, are you going out? Are you going to someone's house? To a restaurant? Maybe a swanky hotel party? Well, as Holly likes to say: "To sequin or not to sequin?" That is today's other question.
Of course, the answer is always SEQUINS! #duh
So, this year, if you are going out, don't chicken out. You can wear your little black dress or fancy jeans any old day of the week. But since you have someplace to go, let's go!
“You want to wear jeans? Fine. But since you wear jeans most of the year, my professional fashion opinion would be to say skip it and go for some fancier pants. Who doesn't love some fucking fancy pants?”

STAYING HOME IS AMAZEBALLS!
With so many fun choices in loungewear and fancy pajamas these days, why go out? Holly recommends splurging on some extravagant, overpriced PJs - and making a BFD about staying home.
Holly's favorites? Well, NAADAM to start with because, duh, it's cashmere. Also, we are #sorrynotsorry. This brand is from the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. It's the best cashmere for the best price that we have seen, and everyone is doing cashmere right now.
Fun Fact: NAADAM was founded in 2013 by two dudes who went traveling around to different sheep farms to find the best prices and the best herders. They cut out the middleman to make a more sustainable and ethical product without driving up the price - and we are totally here for that!
Also, a new fav: Lingerie. Ok, stop it! We already know what you are going to say:
"Like I am really gonna sit around in Italian silk
with my kids on New Year's Eve?"
Don't stop here just because you think this idea is ridiculous or unrealistic. If you don't own any fabulous silk pajamas and want to take a splurge this year; DOOOOO IITTTT with LaPerla. And we are not talking about the overly sexy stuff - lingerie also includes silky camisoles and matching pajama shorts.
Find something a little bit out of your comfort zone, but still covers the parts you want to be covered. And then buy the damn matching robe. See how easy that was?
Once you find your comfiest outfit: try out a new recipe, take a bubble bath, read a book, drink some wine, invite a friend or two over, dance in your living room - because you deserve to look fabulous, girlfriends, whether you go out or not.
