Facing Fear in Becoming an Entrepreneur, an Author, and Pursuing Education: Bo Bennett

This week’s podcast guest is Bo Bennett.  He has a Ph.D. in social psychology and is also an author and entrepreneur .  Bo’s areas of interest encompass a diverse range:

 

1. **Social Sciences and Critical Thinking:** With a Ph.D. in social psychology, Bennett specializes in human behavior, cognition, critical thinking, logical fallacies, reason, rationality, humanism, secularism, and atheism. Most of his books delve into various aspects of critical thinking.

 

2. **Business and Success:** Having sold a company at the age of 29 for $20 million, Bennett brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship. He has initiated numerous businesses and ventures, providing valuable insights into success, along with the wisdom gained from both prosperous and challenging endeavors.

 

3. **Comedy and Creative Process:** Bennett is the creator, writer, and producer of the animated sitcom "Squat!," set in a suburban fitness center. He can speak on the intricacies of the creative process, comedy writing, and finding humor in diverse aspects of life.

 

4. **Artificial Intelligence (AI):** Bennett is involved in AI technology through several websites, eliciting varied responses from users. He can discuss both the technological aspects of AI and the ethical considerations surrounding its use.

Guest Bio: Robert "Bo" Bennett started "Adgrafix", a graphic design firm, right after graduating Bryant University in 1994, with a bachelor's degree in marketing. In 1995, he sold the graphic design business but kept the name of his web hosting company. As a self-taught programmer, Bo created one of the first affiliate systems and web-based web-hosting interfaces in 1996. He built Adgrafix to a 5 million dollar revenue a year business, then sold it to Allegiance Telecom in 2001. Since then, he founded Archieboy Holdings, LLC, a holding company for many different businesses. He currently runs eBookIt.com, an ebook creation, conversion, and distribution company.

 

After selling Adgrafix, Bo began writing "Year To Success," the most comprehensive book ever written on success, based on his experiences, thoughts, and timeless success principles. Year to Success is a book Donald Trump calls, “an inspiration to every person who reads it.”

 

Bo is currently very active in promoting reason, rationality, and critical thinking to people of all religions and philosophies. He is the administrator of the DebateGod.org and a critical thinking page on Facebook. Bo is the author of "The Concept," a book that cleverly examines religion and the nature of God, as well as the author of "Logically Fallacious," the largest known published collection of logical fallacies.

 

Bo has a PhD in social psychology—a field about which he has always been passionate. He is currently working on his dissertation in the area of social intelligence.
