info_outlineIn Acts 5:40, the apostles Peter and John were flogged and ordered not to speak in the name of Jesus after being released from jail. Despite this unfair treatment, they rejoiced and continued to preach the gospel.
As followers of Christ, we may also face unfair treatment and challenging circumstances. It's important to be prepared for these situations and to trust God to make things right. We should not whine or complain, but instead, we should ask God to use our circumstances for His glory.
We have an opportunity to minister to others when we are treated unfairly. By trusting God and responding with grace, we can show others the love of Christ. We can also be a witness to our faith by continuing to live for Jesus, even when it is difficult.
Let's remember that our job as marketplace ministers is to simply help other people move one notch closer to Jesus. We can do this by living our lives according to His teachings, by sharing our faith with others, and by praying for them.
Thank you for being a marketplace minister. What we do because we follow Jesus matters forever.
