Thank you to everyone who reached out to check on me—I’m safe. For those who don’t know, I was just a few miles away from the Palisades fires in Los Angeles and had to evacuate twice with three dogs. Thankfully, we all made it out safely. My heart breaks for this city and those who’ve lost so much. When the fires began, I was at my co-working space. My friend texted me that the Pacific Palisades were on fire. I raced back to Santa Monica, where I was staying, to get my dog Lily and the two I was dog-sitting, Max and Annabelle, to safety. Smoke filled the air, and the fires raged...

More Episodes

Today marks the fifth episode of The Upgrade series, where we continue our journey of self-empowerment and personal growth. In our last episode, we explored the first five of ten fears that often keep us from realizing our true potential. If you haven't listened to that episode yet, be sure to go back and catch up!

This episode is for all of you current and aspiring thought leaders, creatives, visionaries, influencers, entrepreneurs, and business owners. Whether you're already established or still dreaming of making your mark, this episode is your guide to breaking through those final barriers that hold you back.

One of the most common fears is the fear of bad reviews, trolls, and haters. When you're doing something worthwhile, negativity is almost inevitable. The key is not to let it affect your energy or mission. Learning to forgive, block, and bless those who bring negativity into your space is essential to maintaining your positivity and focus. Remember, it's the people who resonate with your message that truly matter.

Another significant fear is the fear of failure. But failure is not the end—it's merely a stepping stone to success. Every setback offers an opportunity to learn and grow. Many of the world's most successful people faced significant failures before they achieved greatness, and your journey can be no different.

The fear of being too old can also be paralyzing, but age is just a number. Whether you're 30, 40, 50, or beyond, it's never too late to start something new and impactful. The world is full of examples of people who found success later in life, and you can be one of them.

Often, we feel that we need permission to pursue our dreams. But stop waiting for external validation—the only permission you need is your own. Everything you need to start making a difference is already within you, and the time to act is now.

Lastly, there's the fear that you won't convince people of your message. It's important to remember that your message isn't for everyone, and that's okay. Focus on those who need to hear your story and who will be moved by it. When you're passionate about what you're sharing, the right people will find you and be inspired by your journey.

This episode is dedicated to helping you gain the confidence you need to live a life filled with passion, purpose, health, and wealth. If you’re ready to overcome the imposter syndrome once and for all, this is the episode you can’t afford to miss. Let’s leave those fears in the past where they belong and step into the greatness that 2024 and beyond have in store for us.
