Not until recently, after opening my own business, did I realize that my sociology degree set a strong foundation for everything I've accomplished thus far. It's supposed to keep us safe, but too many times we will also let it keep us from trying to do something different, new or exciting. Don't let fear keep you from exploring new things or ideas. There's incredible things waiting for you on the other side of fear :)
