info_outlineMany Millennials are at a point in their lives where they’re thinking about having or are already having babies. The thought of having children while managing a full workload as a lawyer can be stressful because, lets face it, being a parent is a full time job on its own. So if you’re considering starting a family, are currently pregnant, or already have a kiddo, what can you be doing right now to best prepare yourself for parenthood while also running your law practice?
I’m joined by Family Law attorney and Certified Family Law Specialist in Redondo Beach, Ca, Lovette Mioni. Lovette runs her own law practice and along with her husband, is raising two young children. She joins me to talk about how having children affected her business and changed her view of how she wanted to practice. She talks to me about what she had to do to prepare her assistant and those she worked with to carry on with office work while she was on leave and what she did to manage her client’s expectations while she was unavailable.
