Chewed pencil points TV journalists to one of their own, who keeps disappearing

Reporter’s crew discover that salt water has ruined their tires and video footage
-
Historic reporter continues work on ancient cultural sites

A monster tail pops up to whack construction workers that were rude to reporter
-
Reporter finds village of cultists and gets whacked by a woman
-
The journal of the reporter gets mailed to the TV station
-
Best friend tries to find reporter and gets maiden spirit instead
-
Maiden tells friend to stop looking for reporter, but he refuses
-
Friend travels to next site, where crew tries to get maiden arrested
-
Maiden throws a fit, monster shows up to protect her, then she gets sad again when it hurts her new boy toy

Friend convinces maiden, after much hugging, to take them to cultist town
