How to Create Your Elevator Pitch show art How to Create Your Elevator Pitch

The Glow Getter Podcast

I often see entrepreneurs struggling with how to explain what they do, especially if they are put on the spot and expected to share in 30 seconds or less. An elevator pitch is meant for you to share who you are and what you do.   My version of an entrepreneurial elevator pitch is who you are, who you help and how you help them by describing your products and/or services in short form. This gives a person a quick glance at how you might be able to help them and if you specialize in helping them.   Today I am sharing 3 steps to create your simplified, easy-to-share elevator pitch to...

Experience the transformative power of a family-run business as they strive to bring exceptional service to their customers through hard work, dedication, and a never-ending commitment to excellence.

"We don't grow from our comfort zone, so she took the risk of opening another store, and that's how Paris Jewellers came to be."

Chau Lui is the co-owner of Paris Jewellers, a retail jewellery brand with 23 stores in four provinces across Canada. She and her sister took over the business 20 years ago and have been growing it ever since.

After immigrating to Canada with only fifty dollars, Chau's mother worked hard to build a better life for their family, eventually opening the modest St. Albert shop. Determined to expand their business, Chau risked it all and began to open multiple stores across four provinces, often sacrificing her own time and energy. However, she realized that she had not adequately communicated the company values or laid a good enough foundation for her team. Taking a step back, Chau and her sister committed to no further expansion until they defined their mission, vision, and values and created an internal training program. Despite the challenges, Chau persevered and strove to create a supportive environment for her team and customers alike.

In this episode, you will learn the following:

- How a Vietnamese immigrant family with only $50 in their pockets built a successful retail jewellery business.

- The challenges Chau faced with the rapid expansion of her business.

- The journey of building the business and redefining values to ensure customer experience excellence.
