Did you miss us?! Well, Gridiron Gospel is back with a pretty full episode this week. We start with a discussion of Lane Kiffin, LSU, and Ole Miss. This was one of the messiest breakups in CFB history, Lane never disappoints. Not to be outdone, then we jump into the Michigan coaching drama. Sherrone Moore is out, Michigan is in shambles, how did things get so bad? The guys take time to break it down and provide a little biblical perspective as well. On the field, sorta, Notre Dame is mad about missing the playoffs. Is their indignation justified? And we end by predicting every CFP game. Enjoy!

Rivalry weekend has come and gone, and the regular season has come to an end. Tim and Cullen are happy men as both of their teams collected victories. Texas played one of its best games of the season and took down Texas A&M, while Ryan Day got the Michigan monkey off his back. The guys have lots to say about those results. However, Texas is still on the outside looking in for the playoffs though. Steve Sarkisian is blaming the loss to Ohio State for his team’s bubble status, but the truth is probably that the Florida loss is what’s holding Texas back. The guys discuss Texas along with...

Tim and Cullen are back to break down another exciting week of CFB. To Tim’s chagrin, the guys had to start with Georgia’s convincing win over Texas, where Kirby talked a little trash afterwards. Georgia is essentially a lock for the playoffs now. Elsewhere in the SEC Oklahoma put themselves back in the mix with a gritty victory over Bama, Texas A&M survived a wild game against South Carolina, and Ole Miss won the ‘Lane Kiffin’ Bowl over Florida. Other playoff hopefuls including Michigan and USC also won close games, setting up what should be an exciting final two weeks of the...

First, several playoff contenders including Indiana, Texas Tech, Oregon, and Texas A&M earned big wins over the weekend. Plus, the guys discuss the latest playoff rankings and identify the most important teams and remaining games that will have the biggest effect on the playoff race. Four of...

Another week, another SEC coach fired. This time it was Hugh Freeze at Auburn, but at least his buyout was less than $20M! Tim and Cullen discuss this and other notable results from the week including Indiana/OSU dominance, Georgia's survival, and disaster in the ACC with Miami and GA Tech losing. Also, the CFP Committee dropped its first playoff ranking of the year and they guys take some time to break down who's overrated, underrated, and in good position for the postseason. The show ends with a discussion of this week's best games, including the sneaky good matchup between Oregon and Iowa.

Another week, another coach gets fired. This time it was Brian Kelly at LSU. In this episode Tim and Cullen spend a little time discussing last week's notable results before an extended discussion of what makes a good coach. Does anyone even know anymore? Is it better to hire an experienced head coach, or an up and coming coordinator? There are great examples of both but right now the experienced coaches seem to be in style. The episode ends with a preview of this week's big games including USC at Nebraska and Oklahoma at Tennessee.

We are now halfway through the season and almost all teams have played at least six games. Therefore it’s a good time to hand out some ‘midterm grades’ for a few college football teams. In this episode, Tim and Cullen walk through the preseason AP Top 10 and hand out grades. Clearly, some teams have failed miserably (looking at you Penn State!), but how is everyone else doing. Next, there have been a surprising number of coach firings right in the middle of the year. Many of which are attached to eight figure buyouts. The guys discuss this new trend and what might be the reason for so...

Whoa nelly, yet another wild week of college football in the books. This episode starts by exploring the themes of Revelation, Redemption, and Judgement. Texas earned redemption in the Red River Rivalry, is there season back on track? Indiana, after taking down Oregon on the road, has been the biggest revelation in the sport. And after falling to Northwestern, Penn State and James Franklin received judgement. Who knew these would be the storylines midway through the season? Tim and Cullen end by hitting on the best games of the weekend including USCs trip to Notre Dame and Georgia hosting Ole...

Just when you think there aren’t many big games, wham! You get hit with a weekend like this. Tim and Cullen discuss the fallout from two season altering upsets, Florida beating Texas and UCLA taking down Penn State. A common theme so far this season has been teams faltering under high expectations. Penn State, Texas, and Clemson were each preseason national title contenders and all have two or more losses. The guys throw out a few theories for why this is happening. That leads to a discussion of who should be number one now? Ohio State, who’s been study but largely untested; or Miami...
