We’re talking about the reasons Jesus came, some two thousand years ago. The reasons He came are tied directly to the state of humanity back then - and today. They needed a savior the day Jesus was born, and we still need a savior today.

Fewer and fewer pastors today speak of the wrath and judgment of God. Many choose to focus on His loving kindness, His forgiving heart, and His redeeming grace. While those are indeed aspects of God’s character, so is His fairness in judgment. In the future, there will be a time of judgment upon the earth such as has never been seen before. The good news is that believers in Christ won’t be here for the judgment to come.
