When Christmas comes each year, it’s easy to be distracted by the parties, gifts, and traditions and miss the most essential facet of what we celebrate as followers of Jesus. Jesus was called Immanuel, God with us. The truth that God broke into our world to be with us is the greatest gift of Christmas. Let’s sit with that truth this Advent season. This week, we encounter Matthew 1:18-25 (ESV) and how God being with us works in our lives today. Speaker: Michael Bayne Text: Matthew 1:18-25 ESV
