More from Elsie:
Hi! I'm Elsie and I've been in Girl Scouts since kindergarten; I even have my "lifetime membership"! In addition to my Gold Award, I have also earned my Bronze and Silver awards. Another highlight of my Girl Scout background was my troop's trip to New York City when I was in high school. Outside of scouting, I am involved in dance and orchestra. More importantly, I have a strong passion for animal welfare. I am currently studying Animal & Veterinary Biosciences at the University of Wisconsin - Madison with the goal of attending vet school in the future. I hope my passion for welfare shined through my Gold Award as I worked to engage my community in wildlife conservation.
