It's Sho Time!

Sho gets into the two best episodes of Ahsoka yet, including what was essentially a live-action episode of The Clone Wars with the return of Hayden Christensen - how was it to see both Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader as portrayed by the same actor? Plus, we are finally treated to the live-action debut of Lars Mikkelsen's Grand Admiral Thrawn - was it everything we imagined? Sho gets into his introduction, the idea of 'kintsugi' in the Night Trooper armour, and the lore re-imagining of the Dathomir Nightsisters.

Ahsoka Breakdown: Episode 3 + 4 show art Ahsoka Breakdown: Episode 3 + 4

It's Sho Time!

Sho has more Ahsoka reaction, including the homage(s) to A New Hope in Episode 3 and the trend of having Force users that don't actually have strong connections to the Force itself, but is that really an issue? Plus, Sho gets into the action-heavy Episode 4, including Sabine vs. Shin, Ahsoka vs. Marrok, and Ahsoka vs. Baylan - he discusses the rumours surrounding Marrok, Baylan's demeanour during (and after) their battle, and the musical cliffhanger the episode ends on.

With the return of Ahsoka Tano, Sho gets back in the saddle as well for some reviews in everyone's favourite galaxy far, far away. What can we make of the late Ray Stevenson's performance of Baylan Skoll? How do the re-imagined versions of 'Rebels' characters look in live action? What easter eggs did Dave Filoni hide in the first two episodes? Sho discusses all the EU references and more.

Avatar: The Way of Water cracks two billion (!) dollars at the box office - must be culturally relevant in some way, right? Sho brings on Mark Gougeon to discuss that very idea and to review both the return to Pandora, and a return to the (beautifully animated) world of Puss in Boots. Plus, some quick Oscar nomination predictions ahead of the official announcement!

Plus, was anyone else reminded of The Force Unleashed towards the end?
