EP 226 Kelli and Anne chat about their adventures at home in Jersey City

Join Anne & Kelli for their 226th NEW episode of #ilovemywife podcast where they are podcasting from HOME! The first thing they talk about is how excited that are that VP Kamala Harris is officially running for President! They also encourage everyone to donate to the campaign or volunteer and to VOTE!

Next, they talk about their time at home that has included lots of cooking (including some viral recipes), dog sitting their daughter’s dog Ziggy, Kelli wearing her hearing aids again and cleaning out their closets. They also talk about some new documentaries they have watched that they loved including Cyndi Lauper’s doc Let the Canary Sing on Paramount +, Simone Biles’ doc Rising on Netflix, Melissa Etheridge’s doc I’m Not Broken on Paramount + and finally Gene Wilder’s doc Remembering Gene Wilder on Netflix. They highly recommend all of them! They also talk about 2 TV shows they binged including The Bear Season 3 and Mr. and Mrs. Smith on Amazon Prime.

They also talk about how important it is to them to see their friends and family as much as possible when they are home. That included and big gay brunch with friends, a Louisiana themes brunch at File in Tribeca with their son Blake and fiancé Teresa and finally a couple date night with long-time friends Heidi and David.

Next, they talk about their Thailand tour guide Thippie coming to the USA for the first time ever at the end of August. They have a fabulous trip planned for her that includes the Hamptons, a big NYC trip, then off to Washington DC and finally heading to Myrtle Beach. She is staying with many of the people that went to Thailand with Kelli’s company and all love Thippie. It should be a wonderful trip!

They talk about Calvin’s chicken salad from Baton Rouge going viral thanks to Bethanny Frankel on TikTok and wedding prep that included dress fittings and jewelry shopping. They also get really excited about the Olympics and Celine Dion’s incredible performance at the Opening ceremonies. Next Anne talks about their trip to Rehoboth Beach, DE for Anne’s concert at Blue Moon and Kelli talks about her upcoming solo trip to Stockholm.

Anne introduces their new idea of Gig Trips. It’s the best way to combine what she does, concerts in different cities or ships, and what Kelli does, TRAVEL. They will plan a weekend trip in different places so you can join them. It starts with Palm Springs (weekend of Nov 15^th-17^th) with Anne’s concert at Toucan’s Tiki Lounge on Nov 16^th. Next is NYC at Christmastime with Anne’s holiday concert at Green Room 42 on Wed, Dec 4^th (Kelli already has a hotel block secured for those days that follow). Then in 2025 they go to sea starting with Anne headlining on the Celebrity Silhouette from NJ to Bermuda from June 1^st-8^th. Then join them while Anne headlines on an Atlas Ocean Voyages mega yacht from July 30^th-Aug 8^th. They are sailing from Stockholm to Copenhagen with stops in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Denmark! You can find all of her tour dates at www.annesteele.com
