EP 236 Anne & Kelli kick off Season 6 and 2025 with some laughs & lots of love

Join Anne & Kelli for their 236th NEW episode of #ilovemywife podcast. This is their first episode of 2025 and kicks off Season 6!

They begin by talking about their new year’s resolutions and goals. They also honor all of the victims of the recent terror attack in New Orleans. Kelli is from Louisiana and sends extra love to a town she spent a lot of her life in.

Next, they give you their holiday recap including their feelings about spending this last Christmas at their apartment in Jersey City and the first Christmas without Kelli’s Dad Joel. Kelli had to spend a lot of time on Youtube watching videos to learn how to carve the turkey in Joel’s absence. They also talk about fun things like going to their friends’ holiday party, taking their moms to see their new apartment and to dinner, going to see Gypsy on Broadway with Kelli’s Mom, their annual friend trip to see Sandra Bernhard’s show at Joe’s Pub and finally their last New Year’s Eve in Jersey City spent with brother Charles and sister-in-law Kath. Overall ,it was a wonderful holiday season!

Hear about the BIG move! As we all know, moving is extremely stressful and they talk about all of the emotions involved with downsizing again, organizing, purging and donating and making so many lists. Also, trying to eat everything out of the freezer so they don’t have to move it and eventually having to take a brunch break so that they could just get away from it for tableside mimosas! They also talk about Anne finally giving in to an Apple Watch and how that is going, Kelli’s sinus infection TWICE in 3 weeks and going to watch the Packer’s game at Blue 42, a local Jersey Packers bar, with their son Blake and their daughter-in-law Teresa.
