Walker Howard is a 5-star quarterback prospect for the Class of 2022 from St Thomas More High School in Lafayette. Howard is an LSU verbal commitment and the ringleader of the Tigers 2022 recruiting class, in terms of landing new recruits and making sure the current commits stay committed. His father Jamie played quarterback for STM and LSU as well.

info_outlineThere are few people in the history of LSU athletics with a better resume than Bennie Brazell. The accolades are almost too many to list. But in short, as an athlete, Brazell won national championships with LSU football (2003) and Track & Field (2002 and 2004), before becoming an Olympian in 2004. For the past ten years he’s been an assistant coach for LSU Track & Field under head coach Dennis Shaver and just recently experienced a new high, as the Tiger men won the school’s first Outdoor National Championship since 2002. As track star himself Brazell was a 5-time NCAA Champion, a 14-time NCAA All-American and the school’s record holder in the 400 meter hurdles and 4 x 400 relay. As a wide receiver he was also a 7th round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006.
