On today’s episode which is also our season ender, the JJC panel lends a male perspective on the recent shift in abortion rights due to the US Surpreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. With the overturning of Roe v. Wade, a handful of states are adopting anti-abortion policies that are barring Women’s access to birth control and birth/abortion related medical proceudres previously affored under the Constitution. Is this issue unilateral or do the opinions of both Men and Women play a vital role in the matter? Also, what does this possibly mean for the future of other rights geared towards marginalized groups? (Brown vs. Board of Ed., and Same-Sex Marriage to name a couple)
Let’s not get started on these Supreme Court Justices now! Should Justices no longer be allowed to serve life-long terms? Is SCOTUS serving the best interest of Americans today?
