Yep- we are going there. Why? Because the majority of women that choose to get breast implants have had some sort of sexual trauma or other physical traumas that led to their decision. This episode is seriously one of my favorites of all time- because my own personal healing has changed....well everything. This could be the missing piece of your own healing journey.

info_outlineCindy Leach is a competitive bodybuilder and holds two pro titles in body building. She is a fitness model, an athlete and a mother of four children. She had silicone gel implants for 3 years when a recall letter showed up in her mailbox. She was advised after receiving that letter to get a mammogram and then she learned that her right implant was ruptured!
"The silicone was everywhere - my surgeon had to clean it out of my ribs." As she looked back on her health she couldn’t help but wonder if her recent health challenges were related to the silicone spill in her body. She had experienced chronic lung problems, joint pain, muscle pain, fatigue, light sensitivity, heart palpations, hot flashes, pain in her feet and more. Shortly after her explant surgery, the problems she had suffered from significantly improved. Her story is inspiring - listen up and get the whole story on the podcast.
Cindy hopes to warn women to think twice before deciding on breast implants, she encourages you to DO YOUR RESEARCH and listen to what we (who have had implants) have been through!

The Killer Boobies Series was created by Wendy Bunnell, Leslie Smoot and Brandy Vega to help women with breast implants understand potential risks associated with breast implant illness or BII so they can make educated decisions when getting silicone implants or saline implants. The Killer Boobies team have all gone through breast implant illness and have had their breast implants removed. It’s called explant surgery. Around 1000 women a day in the United States get breast implants often called boob jobs and most are unaware of breast implant illness or bii. Some women get a breast augmentation because of breast cancer, others get it to feel more sexy or beautiful. Whether you get saline breast implants or silicone breast implants there’s a risk of breast implant illness or bii. Many of the symptoms of breast implant illness or bii are fibromyalgia, hashimotos, autoimmune issues, chronic fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, memory loss, hair loss, rashes, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath and many others.
