Additionally, Huizhen surprisingly hears from her childhood friend Bai Haoyu after being apart from each other for 12 years. They agree to meet and reconcile now that he's back from the US, but not seeing each other for so long and now adults, they mistake each other for other people, and heartbreakingly Haoyu thinks bestfriend Qiao is the long lost friend he has waited so long to meet.
Not wanting to disappoint Haoyu, Huizhen begs Qiao to pretend to be her, and so the deception begins of the fake Huizhen.
Meanwhile, Immortal gets a new Associate Director from headquarters due to the plumetting sales, and like a sinking ship so is Huizhen's confidence when Bai Haoyu walks in to lead the team. Not knowing Huizhen is the true childhood friend and not wanting any excuses of inexpiriences, Haoyu berates and belittles poor Huizhen as she is still trying to find her feet in the office world.
How much can Huizhen take with tyrant Haoyu?
How far will Qiao take her role as fake Huizhen?
Will the real Huizhen eventually stand up and take her rightful place in Bai Haoyu's heart?
