This week Amanda has provided us with some great advice for quarantine. This will hopefully make you feel a little better about yourself in your current state and give you some hope for the future. Although, she does demand you shower regularly. Do you have anything to add? Send in your suggestions to [email protected] and we will share them on a future episode! What might save the world tho? Smut Club. Stay tuned for next week! (spoiler alert: it’s a good one).

Who here has spent their quarantine binge watching the Tiger King? Show of hands. A focus of this show seems to be that Carole may have fed her husband Don to her tigers. However, there are many other theories behind his death. Amanda was happy to use her quarantine time to do all the research for you about the theories. Did he end up a tiger treat? Was he a drug lord? Did he run away with a mistress to Costa Rica?

Welcome to our first, and definitely not annual, CoronaCrawl. We “bar hop” through our own homes. This will be enjoyable for those of you who are social distancing appropriately and are lonely like the rest of us. Jessica arranged for us to sample some beers to try at each “bar” and you can gain little tidbits of beer knowledge that you didn’t know you needed! We announce the Smut Club book for April: Thunder by Willow Summers. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram

Do you believe in luck? This episode was inspired by the lucky four-leaf clover. Because it’s still March and why not? We delve ever so slightly into the history of St. Patrick’s day and clovers in general. Then we meander on over to other luck related superstitions. Stay tuned for Smut Club next week! Getting Lucky by Sarah Spade. Do you think we’ll get lucky and actually have a good book this month? Read it and review it with us! To stay on theme for St. Patricks Day, Amanda weaves us a fantasy tale of smokin hot green haired mermaids known as Merrows. She then ruins it with facts like ugly red hats and sub-par mermen. These sexy sirens travel onto land by magic, fall in love with their dream human and then slip into a dark depression. No happily ever after for these Mermaids. How sad are you that this week’s episode didn’t lead to fantasies about Aquaman? Email your letters of disappointment to [email protected].

This week we bring you the tale of an Irish gal named Mary. She was a carrier for Typhoid which, realistically, is in no way related to the Coronavirus. Back in the day Mary liked to cook for rich families but wasn’t great at washing her hands. The rest is history. And last, but certainly not least, we announce the Smut Club book for March, also Irish themed: Getting Lucky by Sarah Spade. Read it and tell us what you think! We’ll be reviewing it on March 25! Happy Smutentine’s day! We had high hopes for another “holiday” themed book but this one followed in the footsteps of our New Year’s pick; the storyline had a lot of potential but the follow through was a giant fail. There were too many inconsistencies in this book and not enough quality smut. We could overlook pretty much everything else if there was at least some good smut. What did you think? Amanda has a lovely tale of woe this week. If you’re anything like Jessica, all you basically know is that Princess Di passed away tragically in a car crash. Super sad for her poor kiddos but what can ya do about a car accident right? Amanda unravels for us the possible true story. A story containing lies, deception, and tragedy. What do you think happened? Send us your thoughts to [email protected]. Feel free to make demands or requests via our Facebook or Instagram for upcoming episodes!
info_outlineWe’re. So. Sorry. And by we, we actually mean Jessica since she picked this garbage. The book for Smut Club this month was an epic failure. If you haven’t read the book yet, DON’T. It was awful. We hated it (if you haven’t gathered that by now). The online book reviews gave it mostly 4 or 5 stars and used words like “dirty” & “dark to describe this book. Which makes it sound like it would be a worthy read. When in fact, each new “sex scene” (if you could even call them that), made the book harder and harder to pick back up again. The scenes were too aggressive and gave off too much of a rapey vibe for us. Maybe you’re into that, no shame, but it wasn’t up our alley and we apologize if we’ve scarred you for life. Jessica promises it will (probably) never happen again. The writing was also pretty subpar, the characters were poorly developed, and the plot was annoying to follow. Don’t be too discouraged though, because we are back with Season 2 starting next week! We have a lot of promising material for your listening pleasure so stay tuned! Please let us know what you thought of Season 1, any feedback is welcome- [email protected]. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
