What is Emotional Intelligence?

Before I answer today’s question, I want to share today’s quote which is from Plato and it goes like this.

Emotional intelligence is the “something” in each of us that is a bit intangible. It affects how we manage behaviour, navigate social complexities, and make personal decisions that achieve positive results.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to express and control our own emotions and our ability to understand, interpret, and respond to the emotions of others. Imagine a world where you couldn't understand when a friend was feeling sad or when a co-worker was angry.
