Taxpayers Are Still on the Hook for Silicon Valley Bank- Here's Why show art Taxpayers Are Still on the Hook for Silicon Valley Bank- Here's Why

Leave Us Alone with Grover Norquist

Federal regulators insured deposits beyond the $250,000 FDIC limit to protect against "systemic risk."  The Biden administration disingenuously claims taxpayers will not be on the hook for bailing out SVB. Taxpayers will ultimately pay more for banking services because the regulators decided to insure all depositors, circumventing the $250,000 threshold. Yet, Voters believe the US corporate rate should be at or below the rates of our foreign competitors – including China -- and believe that raising taxes on businesses could ship existing jobs overseas and result in new jobs being created overseas instead of in America.

Join ATR President Grover Norquist as he discusses why Democrat policies will not help working American families and workers.
