Life and Business In Flow
As I sit here, reflecting on seven incredible years in business and this milestone 80th episode of Life and Business in Flow, I can feel the gentle stirring of change coming. It's funny how sometimes the biggest shifts come not from pushing harder, but from finally giving ourselves permission to listen to that quiet voice within. Fresh from beautiful Bali, I've found clarity about my path forward. This year has brought some amazing experiences from a speaking event in Sydney, magazine features, holding space for women at my Spring retreat, being a guest on other podcasts, and connecting...

Ever notice how everyone's Instagram feed and their stories are starting to look and sound exactly the same? Scrolling through social media these days, it's hard to tell businesses apart - same poses, same filters, same carefully curated perfection. Why does authenticity in business matter now more than ever? Because we've forgotten something vital - our own stories are what truly connect us with others. It's not about being perfect or copying what works for someone else. It's about being real. I love seeing women let go of all the "shoulds" and find their own way. Moving past...

The deepest transformations happen when we finally give ourselves permission to pause. In a world where being constantly "on" has become our default, where exhaustion runs deep and that feeling of being needed by everyone leaves us depleted, we've forgotten what it means to truly rest. At my recent women's retreat, I witnessed something magical - eight incredible women found their way back to themselves. In that sacred space, layers of armour fell away, masculine energy softened, and each woman rediscovered what it meant to simply breathe and be. They arrived carrying their...

We often underestimate the impact that our home environment and lifestyle have on our business. When your home is chaotic, your mind is cluttered, and that spills into everything else. Many of us are trying to juggle so much - business, family, schedules and health. As business owners, we often get caught up in the day-to-day tasks, especially in the early years. In today’s episode, we're diving into what it truly means to become the business owner your business needs you to be. Creating a course and products for passive income might not be the answer you’re looking for. Passive income and “making money while you sleep” are sold to us everywhere online as the ultimate goal in your business and something we should aim for. It’s become a bit of a fad - if you don’t have one, it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind. I’m here to tell you that it’s not the magic solution, it can actually do more harm than good, and there are other steps you can take in your business before giving into the course creation hype. Creating a...

Business doesn’t have to be hard. Sure, there are highs, lows and times when you need to invest more effort, but with the right systems and processes in place from the start, you can create a more peaceful, sustainable business. Many women find themselves stuck in a cycle of hard, avoiding what could truly help them, and getting caught in the endless noise of online “shoulds”. This leads to saying yes to everything, neglecting boundaries, and hesitation in making necessary changes. Instead, they procrastinate, overthink, and chase quick fixes or small wins,...

I’ve been having a lot of conversations lately with clients around fear. It’s something that is rearing its ugly head more and more whether it's around fear of spending, saving, or investing money, fear of not keeping up with what others are doing, fear of implementing new processes and software, or fear of hiring - these fears can be paralyzing. But have you considered what this fear is costing you? Is it keeping you from building the brand you've always dreamed of? Is it preventing you from getting the mentoring and support you need? Is it robbing you of your health and time with...

info_outlineOne of the most profound lessons I’ve learned, not just in my business but in my life, is to embrace the balance of my masculine and feminine energies.
I grew up in a primarily masculine environment, being raised on a family farm where there was always something to do and not taking a moment to rest was considered normal or working in male-dominated industries full of hustle culture and competition. I had learned that working hard and sitting in my masculine was just a way of life.
I was taught by society that those who go hard and are in a constant state of busy are worthy of celebration as if it’s some badge of honour and what is defined as “success”.
For me, this resulted in extreme burnout.
Since then, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery and learning more about what it really means to embrace your femininity, and in turn, balance both masculine and feminine energies in both my business and my life.
Join me in today’s episode as I take you behind the scenes of my life and the unexpected shifts that happened when I stepped more into my feminine flow.
It’s a beautiful dance and one I can’t wait to share with you.
