info_outlineNotes
How many of us experience creative grief? How can we step out of our pained and distorted mind view of creativity and start to joyfully express our essence through creativity?
- Creative grief seems ubiquitous.
- We are born creators, which is why we may feel creative grief and sadness when we resist or limit the joy of being creative.
- This grief seems to play out not only individually, but also in group and family roles and dynamics.
- Our stories and mindthink can block and tarnish our creativity, diminishing our life force and possibly making us ill. We have the freedom of choice to be creative.
- A distorted or inhibited creative flow has a lower vibration, sometimes bringing out competitiveness or shrinking.
- Creating a collage from magazines is an easy way to not only be creative but also to bring lightness and some clarity into sadness, anger or grief.
- We can use creativity to move pain out of our body to then reconnect to our essence. Imagine drawing an exit point for pain on paper!
- Creativity is also a safe way to process what we’re feeling because we’re observing ourselves through a different medium and perspective.
- We can be creative in countless ways, such as how we dress, talk, our expressions, activities and much more.
