She holds a Master of Social Work - University of Texas at Arlington and in 2005 recieved her Bachelor of Social Work - Texas Christian University. Over the past 13 years, Sh'Niqua has worked in a variety of social work/clinical settings: Supporting and mentoring pregnant/parenting teenagers to overcome barriers and achieve success as both a parent and a student. Employment in the child welfare system; helping children in foster care and their families overcome trauma, abuse, and neglect. Working at local psychiatric facilities to help children, adolescents, and adults receive proper mental health treatment.
