info_outlineAs we promised in our mid summer scouting report episode we sit down and talk about how the Utah elk archery season finished out. We had (5) general season spike/cow permits and Darren had the Any Bull permit. The spike/cow tags proved to be a little hate hard to fill, but... the Any Bull tag got filled in spectacular fashion. As the season progressed the elk hunting became everything an archery hunter could hope for. The temperatures cooled off, the leaves started putting on their fall colors and the much anticipated rut started to kick in.
