An ancient rabbi from the time of Socrates taught that we humans are like the Ark of the Covenant. The most sacred relic of the Israelites, the Ark was a wooden chest covered in pure gold with an elaborate lid called the Mercy Seat. I share my experiences during my recent travel to Israel and highlight the importance of spending time with your adult children. I also underscore our oneness with that force called Life and invite you to dig deeper than your flaws and shortcomings.
