Gary Taylor is not the average 'roll out the barrel' or 'oberek' artist. Performing state wide with some regional trips since the 1960s, Taylor found himself in great company while at Handy High School in the early '60s. John Woolard's father Dwayne is one Michigan's first fore-fathers of country music, having been a pianist for all the Nashville and Mid-West names and albums. John himself started out with high school bands leading him to a short stint in Til Tuesday while in Florida. That road led to Nashville, both studio and touring.
