Advent Week Two Prayer of Peace ~ Julie Carrick

 

Lord Jesus,

As we light the second candle of Advent,

quiet our hearts and still our worries.

You are the Prince of Peace—

the One who comes to steady our steps

and calm every storm within us.

Teach us to rest in Your promise:

that You came to save us,

You come to walk with us each day,

and You will come again in glory.

In every moment between now and eternity,

let Your peace shape our thoughts, our words, and our actions.

May this holy season draw us deeper

into trust in Your presence.

Prepare us for Your coming—

at Christmas, at the hour of our death,

and at the end of all time—

so that we may meet You without fear,

our hearts anchored in Your unfailing love.

Jesus, Prince of Peace,

come and dwell within us.

Amen.

V/. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,

R/. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

 

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you;

blessed are you among women,
