Richie Sambora is an American rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer best known for his work as the lead guitarist of the rock band Bon Jovi. Born on July 11, 1959, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Sambora joined Bon Jovi in 1983, shortly before the band achieved massive commercial success. He remained with the group until 2013, contributing to some of their most iconic hits and albums.
