The character-driven thriller is the hallmark for former Hollywood producer turned-author Burt Weissbourd. Weissbourd has written numerous acclaimed thrillers, including Inside PassageTeaserMinos, and In Velvet.

His latest work, Danger in Plain Sight  (Blue City Press, 2020), has won praise for its female heroine by Kirkus Reviews:
