info_outlineMark Regan (aka The “Coach of Champions”) is a certified nutrition specialist and certified strength and conditioning specialist with over 25 years in the fitness and nutrition profession.
Over the past 5 years alone, Mark has helped over 500 men, women and children learn how to take back their health. Combined, they have lost over 13,000 lbs and 14,000 inches of fat during his program instruction. Better yet, they learned all of the tools to make this lifestyle a permanent part of their happy life.
This conversation with Mark came at a time when many people are struggling with their health (mentally, emotionally and, in some cases, physically) due to the extended lockdown made necessary by COVID-19 and the uncertain road that awaits. Kevin and Mark explored that along with parts of each other’s health-related ups and downs, what they’ve learned and how they've changed. They also shared some ideas of some simple things anyone can do to begin empowering themselves to start building some positive momentum going forward, one little step at a time.
Among other things, they discussed:
~ How it’s really about mindset.
~ Why the idea of “embracing the grind” can be dangerous.
~ What happened when he was 5 years old that set the foundation for the passion he has for fitness and lifestyle.
~ Why he kept having to tell himself, “Never again,” and how he finally made that proclamation come true.
~ Focusing on opportunity over challenges.
~ It’s about progress over perfection.
~ How he reacts to the word “diet.”
~ What it means to “teach hormones.”
~ What is the root cause of pretty much any chronic affliction in the body, and what to do about it.
