She was assistant producer for the Milady Basic Makeup Artist Training Textbook and DVD and lead makeup artist for a recent Milady hair cutting training DVD. Alayne is currently the consulting makeup artist for NBC affiliate WNYT News Channel 13, and the staff editorial hair and makeup stylist for Her Life New York Magazine and a consultant for the Bare Minerals product development team.

“I had a photographer tell me once, ‘Alayne, it doesn’t matter how much hairspray you use, if their hair is down and it’s a humid day by the end of the night it just doesn’t look good.’ So I usually recommend that if you’re wanting to do two dresses and two different hairstyles, wear it down initially and then let us put it up.”
