info_outlineAs a son in a military family, Paul struggled with perfectionism, even in his faith. When his dad forbade him to go into the military after high school, his only other thought was ministry. For the next 30 years, God would provide for Paul opportunities for work as a Pastor, but only by revealing one next step that needed to be taken each time. Through this process of faith, God was also providing opportunities for Paul to learn of His grace & faithfulness and let go of the perfectionism. Once Paul embraced the message that God will fulfill His purposes through him in His divine timing, Paul and his family found themselves in Europe, serving in a German town with a U.S. military base and 70,0000 Americans living there. As a full-time missionary family, Paul and his family are learning new things about God’s love for us every day. This story encourages all of us to approach every encounter with God with child-like wonder, even after a lifetime of being in service to Him.
