Not only do you need to convince them you can do the job, you have to prove it to them. For ShorEbricks, they took a massive pay cut to get their first client on board. This resulted in a loss financially for the company but after showing off ShorEbricks’ skill, it proved to the client and all future clients that ShorEbricks is a trusted construction company that knows what they’re doing.

A good company culture is vital - ShorEbricks had many 6 month contract workers working for their company during the summer. Despite being such a short duration of time, they took the time to train and integrate new workers into the company welcomingly. Building a strong rapport with workers, even ones that are only here for a limited time, is important to have a loyal and hard-working team that will uphold the quality of work you want your company to represent.
