Welcome back to the latest episode of This Week in Aruba, which covers the events from Friday, August 31st to Sunday, September 9th also known as timeshare week 35. Now this isn’t the regular time period for an episode because we’ll be in Aruba this following week so here we are recording in advance. Today we have Maggie to join us for the podcast again.

Korean Night at Que Pasa

A Korean night, a two-course feast for the palate, is going to be the highlight on the first Wednesday of September at Que Pasa restaurant in the Wilhelminastraat downtown. A special Korean BBQ is waiting for you to be sampled and savored on September 5. Of course, the evening starts off with Ramen soup. Ramen is one of Korea’s delicacies as well as a staple food.

 

For your main course there is a marinated meat platter with short ribs, chicken legs, beef strips and pork chops, served with fried rice, kimchi, Korean spinach and eggs. The price is $29.50 per person.

 

So, try something new, let your palate be surprised. The Korean Night at Que Pasa can promise you that!

 

BBQ Sunday at Nos Clubhuis with a BBQ platter for just $15 pp

Liven up your Sundays: step into your car and drive to NOS CLUBHUIS, climb the stairs and voilà, you're ready for a great experience. At Nos Clubhuis, located right on top of Hadicurari Restaurant, things start hopping at noon. For just $ 15.-- per person one gets a platter with a grilled fish steak, a chicken saté skewer and ribs, French fries and a salad. But that is not all: there is a HAPPY HOUR with very special local prices going from 12 - 1 pm and from 5 - 6 pm. Yes indeed, twice a day!

 

Nos Clubhuis, the home away from home of the local fishermen of Aruba, also offers all day and daily Bucket Deals of Amstel Bright or Heineken beer for $ 25.-- or Balashi for $ 20.--. The amazing view over the fisherman's pier, the boats and the ocean is thrown in for free. Don't forget that Nos Clubhuis is upstairs, so take one of the two stairs at Hadicurari (between the Marriott Surf Club and MooMba Beach). The BBQ special runs every Sunday until 9 pm.

Funstacle Masters Aruba is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year. In honor of this milestone, we are going to take the fun and the obstacles to a whole other level with Funstacle Masters X-TRA Fun.

 

This will be our first ever 3-day event held at the Harbor Arena on, 7, 8, 9 September 2018. For the 7th edition of Funstacle Masters we are going big in collaboration with FITVILLE.
