Today on the 5: Way WAY back in episode 35 I review the 2001 film , but I had not revisited the movie since then and we selected it as one of our commentary films for the week. It ended up being a perfect pairing with Tetsuo: The Iron Man. It's an excellent example of how style over substance isn't always a bad thing!

First up is a movie I couldn't believe I'd never reviewed for the show before, 1989's . For the right viewer, this movie can feel like a belt sander to the brain in the best way.

Today on the 5: I've been looking forward to seeing Guillermo del Toro's so much I decided to renew Netflix for a month just to watch it. Between the great reviews and Del Toro consistently delivering visually stellar films I knew I wouldn't be let down. Having seen it, I'm happy to report that not only is this a great Frankenstein movie, it just might be del Toro's masterpiece.

One of the conclusions in that video is that whatever party is truly at fault in the breach, discord is ultimately responsible. While I certainly agree about that in spirit, I'm not sure it's actually true from a legal standpoint.
